TERUAKI KATAGIRI | MANAGING DIRECTOR
After attending NYU as an undergrad in the Food and Beverage management division and experiencing management role in another F&B company, joined PDS in 2003. Since then, he has engaged in managing 2 restaurants including the start-up the now successful The House of Pacific in Kobe, and serving as GM in 2 of our hotels. Specializing especially in F&B and hotel management, he now directs and leads the new and exciting project of the Stanton Hotel in Miami.
REINA MATSUO | WEDDING DIVISION MANAGER + PUBLIC RELATIONS
Matsuo spent her youth in California and Texas, after attending University in Japan, joined PDS in 2010 as a newgrad. Spent her first year in corporate sales, engaging in marketing and sales of the international travel market. In later years, she specialized in wedding sales and coordinating thus experiencing having wed more than 130 couples. Starting from 2015, joined the PDS America team in Miami, engaging in PR and branding for the new restaurants to come in the Stanton Hotel project, along with directing the development of the new wedding brand for PDS to release in the U.S. in the coming year.
TAISEI TAKATO | RESTAURANT MANAGER
Born and raised in Chicago, attended University in Japan, joined PDS as a newgrad in 2009. Has experience in broad divisions, kitchen, wedding planner, front desk at hotel, and restaurant server. With his intercultural backgrounds, he now serves as the restaurant manager in The Stanton Hotel in Miami, engaging in training members of the Omotenashi spirit.
ERIC ZMOLEK | RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR
Eric has always had his interest in the Japanese culture and language, he spent some time studying abroad in Japan in a homestay environment. Met PDS when attending the Boston Career Forum. Joined PDS in 2011, worked in our restaurant in Kyoto (The Sodoh Higashiyama). He deepened his passion for Japanese culture and the heart of omotenashi during his years in Japan. Starting 2014, he joined the Miami team and now supervises the restaurant along with Taisei.
MASATSUGU KUBO | JAPANESE CUISINE EXECUTIVE CHEF
Started his career as a chef in 1997., when he was only 18 years old.ı
He actually started out as an Italian Chef, working in a small restaurant in Kobe, Japan.At 20, he traveled to Italy to train himself as a chef in the ‘real’ Italian environment. At age 25, he encounters PlanDoSee, successfully becoming the kitchen supervisor after one year of experience in the company.. Throughout the years in the company, he spent some time as a server in one of our restaurants as well as a wedding planner. In 2012 he became the chef of Ryotei Kawabun, an extremely authentic and traditional Japanese restaurant. Ryotei Kawabun is the oldest Japanese restaurant in the Nagoya area of Japan and has a history of more than 400 years, now managed and operated by PDS since 2011. Now he has brought himself to Miami to introduce ‘real’ Japanese food to the people of South Florida.
DANIELA PINERO | KITCHEN SUPERVISOR
Joined PDS in October 2014, with her South American background she supports the team as the English-Spanish bilingual chef, which is an essential role in a latin influenced area like Miami. As being one of the few female chefs on the team, her suave and precise culinary skills plays an extraordinary role in the kitchen team.
